• WHY WE SHOULD CHOOSE A PROFESSIONAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
A single word is enough: unrepeatability. Your wedding is full of moments that take place in a fraction of a second, and that only the expert eye of those who have the experience of many services behind, can seize. All these little moments together, are the soul of your marriage. A professional can then handle all kinds of unexpected events without compromising the success of your photo shoot.
Close your eyes, and imagine your day. Now reopen them, and look at your images. Would you be able to relive certain moments, just remembering them?

• WE HAVE SEEN WEDDINGS WHERE THE PHOTOGRAPHER SEEMED A SHOWMAN
This is not really my case, but I understand what you are referring to. In any case, I avoid embarrassing my spouses and their guests with clothing that is too "informal" or with unprofessional attitudes. I always dress elegantly and try to be as discreet as possible, because the protagonists are you, not me.
In times when you will not see me in the room, I will be around to visit the location to plan the solutions for the best outcome of your service.

• WHAT DOES WEDDING REPORTAGE MEAN?
Wedding reportage is a type of service that does not include posed photos. This allows me to go unnoticed and tell all the moments of your day, without escaping the party with your guests. The result are photos of more natural and spontaneous spouses.
• SO YOU WILL NOT SHOOT US IN POSED PHOTOS?
You'd like it! I joke, of course. I always ask my spouses if they want to spend about twenty minutes to make some shots by themselves. It is not said, in fact, that during the course of the day they are always close, and therefore, naturally if they please, I suggest small photo sessions.
I like to guide the couple, advising them on the position to exploit a better light, or to enhance the location they have chosen, but letting them then interact in the most natural way possible, helping them to relax with some playful joke.
• DO YOU WORK ALSO OUTSIDE YOUR CITY?
Absolutely yes. I can move throughout Italy, but also abroad, to accommodate you according to the location you have chosen for your wedding. Naturally, the travel costs (diesel, motorway and any hotel) affect the price of the service.
• ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHS WE HAVE SEEN ON YOUR SITE TAKEN BY YOU?
What you see on my website is all of my bag's flour. It would be absurd to present to my spouses the work done by other photographers, also because then the final result would be different from their expectations.
• DO YOU ALSO REALIZE THE VIDEOS?
Certainly. To ensure the highest quality, I preferred to specialize in photo shoots, and entrust video services to a studio of professionals specialized only in video shooting. In this way you will enjoy a team of highly specialized professionals in both video and photography.
• I AM NOT PHOTOGENIC. IS IT A PROBLEM FOR YOU?
Do you want to laugh? Everyone thinks that. Each of us is very critical with himself, but believe me, everyone is photogenic. You think about relaxing, and I'll take care of the rest.
• DO YOU HAVE PARTICULAR NEEDS FOR THE WEDDING DAY?
Just one: have fun! Joking aside, no need in particular, but if you have any requests, please ask me without any problem. A friend you absolutely want a picture with? A relative? Tell me, I recommend it. A clarification: the reportage service, by its nature, can not guarantee the presence of all the people invited to the wedding in the photographs, so if you absolutely want the photo with parents or grandparents or other people, you have to ask me at the time. I will obviously be happy to fulfill this desire.
• ARE YOU ALWAYS PRESENT AT WEDDINGS OR SEND SUBSTITUTES?
I never accept two marriages on the same date, just to not delegate to other photographers the work for which I have been chosen by my spouses. All this is for me extreme correctness towards you.
• DO YOU SET UP A MAXIMUM TIME FOR THE END OF THE SERVICE?
Absolutely not! Not even for a joke. My goal is to tell your story, and do not collect any image here and there. This is why my service ends with dances, after cutting the cake.
• BETTER A PHOTOGRAPHER OR TWO?
I offer you the opportunity to choose, although I will allow you to advise you depending on the different situations.
Surely two photographers allow you to capture more moments at the same time, or capture the various moments from different points of view.
• CAN YOU GIVE US SOME TIPS FOR THE VIDEO?
I do not manage the video directly, but based on many experiences I realized that there are some fundamental characteristics that the video operator must have, in order to allow me to do my job better.
Video operators with a 90s style shoulder camera, with "headlight" on (absolutely impossible) and, even worse, lamps in church or in other situations are totally incompatible with my way of shooting.
The reportage is not a type of photo that can be planned, but it is a moment caught in a fraction of a second, and the photographer must not be hindered by continuous changes of light or video operators that are too intrusive.
Personally, in case you want to have a video service, I will recommend some video operators that I respect and that I think are really good, but in case of your choice make sure that he respectss the professional requirements described above.
The ideal would be that you put us in touch, to be able to point out my needs during the photo shoot. Otherwise, before making a photographic reportage that surely (by experience I am sure) will not respect my quality standards, I will certainly prefer to give up marriage.
In the case in which to make the video is a relative, a friend or in any case a person invited to the wedding, I will not have anything to object because it is an integral part of the story and therefore he is absolutely free, if he wants, to shoot a video, as long as he does not hinder me by occupying the frame in the most important moments.
• ACCORDING TO US OUR LOCATION HAS A FEW PHOTOGRAPHIC, AND THEN DOES NOT HAVE A BEAUTIFUL LIGHTING. COULD WE CHOOSE A LOCATION DIFFERENT ONLY FOR PHOTOS?
A good photographer can find photographic opportunities everywhere, even in places that are trivial for someone. Enhancing the light by taking advantage of the various moments of the day, and the context, you can create incredible shots anywhere. If needed, however, use additional lighting.
We can go where you want to take pictures, even if I do not recommend it, because you would leave your guests alone for a long time, with the risk of having to spend the whole day with me!
• WE ARE AWAY, AND FOR US IT IS DIFFICULT TO REACH YOU. HOW CAN WE DO?
No problem! We can communicate via Skype if you prefer a video call. Obviously you can stay in touch with all the more traditional methods, such as email, phone, Whatsapp or Telegram.
• HOW CAN I BOOK YOU FOR MY WEDDING?
I think it is essential that we know each other in person, and I do not accept any service without first shaking hands with my interlocutors. You can write to me at [email protected], use the form on the Contact page or directly by phone at +39-334-9426904 to make an appointment. We will find where it is most convenient (preferably in my studio, or from you), and we will evaluate together your requests and my proposals. At the signing of the contract I will ask you for a small deposit.
• HOW MUCH TIME BEFORE DO I HAVE TO CONTACT YOU?
It is always difficult to answer this question because every year there are some very requested dates and some less. In any case, for personal experience, for the months of May, June July and September, I would recommend at least 6 months before. Of course for weekdays I would say that you can take it more calmly, since they are less required.
• ARE THERE ADDITIONAL COSTS FOR THE TRANSFER?
If the service takes place over 100Km I ask for a reimbursement of travel expenses, and possibly an overnight stay should the service start very early, or end up particularly late.
We will agree on all this together with the contract, and you will therefore have no additional cost later.
• IF WE CANCEL THE MARRIAGE, WILL WE LOSE THE CAPAR?
I hope so much for you that there is never a need for it, however, depending on how long you have canceled it, a part of the down payment will be retained as we go closer to the date of the wedding.
In the event that the wedding is only moved, however, the deposit will be kept at 100%, and at most you will be asked for an adjustment on the fee based on the new price lists, if the date will go to the next year.
• WE WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO DECIDE. CAN YOU SIGN UP THE DATE AND MAY TELL YOU IF A COUPLE IS INTERESTED IN THE SAME DATE?
I'm sorry but in this I can't satisfy you. I receive many requests for an estimate and it would be an unmanageable job for me to have to recontact all the undecided. I can come to meet you holding the date for about ten days, but beyond this limit I will consider myself free and I will give precedence to the couple who will first sign the contract.
• BUT HOW MUCH DOES A WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT COSTS?
Each photo shoot is completely customized according to your needs and your characteristics, from the choice of shots to post-production and layout of the album.
The price therefore depends on many variables, all subjective. The distance, duration of service, number of guests, model and finishes of the album, for example. I invite you to contact me to arrange an appointment without obligation, where you can indicate all your needs, allowing me to make a personalized quote.
One thing I really care about, is that you appreciate my style of interpretation, before knowing the price of the wedding photo shoot. That's why I invite you to look at my wedding and engagement galleries, and see if I'm the photographer you're looking for.
• THE SPONTANEOUS PHOTOS ARE VERY BEAUTIFUL, I HAVE NOTED THAT YOU DO NOT "RETOUCH" THE WRINKLES OR SIMILAR THINGS ...
Not being a studio or a fashion photo shoot, I do not normally perform these tweaks, except in special cases and, as a rule, only on spouses (that damn pimple that comes up just the night before the wedding for example).
• HOW MUCH DO YOU EXPECT BEFORE YOU HAVE THE SAMPLES?
Generally, after 3/4 weeks, I am able to supply the USB key in the most "discharged" periods. In the most intense periods, the wait can take up to three months.
• HOW DO I HAVE THE ORIGINAL FILES OF THE MARRIAGE?
I always include, in the price of the service, all the shots processed in high resolution, plus all the unselected shots, on a beautiful crystal USB flash drive.
• DO YOU SHOOT IN JPEG OR IN RAW?

• WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ADVANCED AND CUSTOMIZED POSTPRODUCTION?
The advanced postproduction is already very difficult in itself, and provides for the adjustment of all levels of lighting, color balancing, the elimination of dark circles or imperfections of the skin, and removal of small spots.
The custom postproduction instead, involves the removal of disturbing elements, such as road signs, the modification of elements of the scene or individual parts of the body, and this is, it's a big job!
To every image that I give you, an advanced post-production will be applied, while on those that I will select among the best to be submitted for the album, the personalized post-production will be applied.
• WHO WILL CHOOSE THE PHOTOS?
The choice of the shots to be processed is made by me, but not because I am selfish, simply because I think it must be the "writer" to tell the story, not the characters.
• BUT THEREFORE WE CAN NOT SAY OUR OPINION ON THE IMPAGINATION OF THE ALBUM?
I would never allow myself to print your album without first having heard your opinion!
I will send you a draft of the page, and if you want to suggest changes, I will be happy to make them and send you back the new draft.
When, finally, you give me the confirmation of being satisfied, I will proceed by sending the order to the press laboratory.
• WILL I CAN CHOOSE THE ALBUM?
Naturally, I propose a wide selection of photo books. You can choose, for the traditional album, also the type of print that best suits your tastes. My albums are produced by companies of the highest prestige, recognized worldwide. It is possible to postpone the choice to after the wedding, when the photographs are ready.
• WHAT TYPE OF ALBUM YOU PROPOSE?
My albums are handcrafted and completely hand maded, and include over 500 variations of covers created and customizations, ranging from classic to modern.
• WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY TIME OF THE ALBUM?
In normal working conditions I try to deliver the album within, at most, 3/4 months from the wedding, very often before, but it depends on many factors, which we will discuss in person, perhaps drinking a coffee together.
I receive a few times (fortunately a few) very generic emails with very little information, in which only the price is asked, without referring to the quality of the photographs and to any other aspect of my work. Know that this type of email does not answer, because I'm not interested in a clientele who is not aware of the many facets of which my work is composed.
